Personal history of each of us is, among other things, the resultant interaction with others, be of the same culture or different one. In turn, our community's culture influenced and was influenced by other cultures. Each individual, each community (village, community, city, country) is an instrument of the great orchestra of the world. The expression of her beauty, diversity must be simultaneously achieved by carrying out harmonic world to maximize the identity of each instrument, able to enrich its effect by personal stamp. In the coming weeks we are going to do an e-mail project. We are going to have e-mail contact in English with pupils from other countries. You are going to have one e-mail partner each. You will send at least five e-mails with the following topics: 1. my everyday life 2. my lovely family 3. a day at my school 4. my school and my city 5. my city and my country 6. ... and then, who knows, maybe we’ll know eachother, first doing a website and second, face to face... My students really need to speak English or French! They are third grade in high school (XI degree). Or... we can apply this with my second grade in junior high (VI degree) Every step is an e-mail that the student need to send to your partner. The student first make a draft version for his or her teacher. The corrected e-mail can be sent to the partner.

Work process:
1. FIRST STEP: Introduce yourself. What is your name, how old are you, are you a boy or a girl? Write about your hobbies and what you like and don’t like such as food and pets. Describe your best friend(s). Also ask your partner about the same things. It is fun to send a picture of yourself along as an attachment. 2. SECOND STEP: Write about your family and your household. Include parent’s jobs, rules in the house, and what you can and can’t do in your family. Don’t forget to ask your partner about his / her family. You will find out there are lots of differences between you and your partner. Maybe you can take photographs of your parents, brothers, sisters and so on and send it along as an attachment. 3. THIRD STEP: How is my school? Describe a schoolday. You can send pictures or indicate the website of your school. 4. FOURTH STEP: Describe your house and your bedroom. Then tell your partner about the rest of the house, think about living room, kitchen, etc.. Then give information about your neighbourhood. Is it busy, quiet, are there any shops etc.. Do you have friends in your neighbourhood? What do you like or don’t you like about your neighbourhood? Then ask your partner about his / her house. 5. FIFTH STEP: Show where is located your school in the city. Then describe your city and your country. Where are they located, the most beautiful places, nice stories etc.. (could be used Google Earth).
